With the desire to accompany expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy and ensure a safe delivery, Hoan Hao Kei Mei Kai Di An General Hospital, in collaboration with KidsPlaza, organized a free antenatal workshop on the morning of April 20, 2025, with the theme: “Initiating Labor – A Safe Journey to Welcome Your Little Angel.”

The event attracted a large number of pregnant women and their families, providing practical medical knowledge and valuable experiences in preparation for childbirth.

1. Understanding Labor Induction – A Key Milestone in Childbirth

At the workshop, Dr. Vo Quoc Viet (Specialist Level I in Obstetrics, with many years of experience) guided the moms through:

• Recognizing the signs of safe labor

• Distinguishing between true labor and false labor

• Knowing the right time to go to the hospital to ensure the safety of both mother and baby

The medical information was presented in a clear and practical manner, helping pregnant women feel more confident and proactive as they approach the final stages of pregnancy.

2. Hands-on Practice in Proper Newborn Umbilical Cord Care

A highlight of the program was the hands-on activity on newborn umbilical cord care, directly guided by the hospital’s team of nurses.

Moms not only observed but also practiced proper techniques themselves, helping to minimize the risk of infection and postnatal complications.

3. Thoughtful Gifts and a Warm Atmosphere

Every expectant mother who attended received a newborn gift set worth up to 1,000,000 VND.

The workshop was also a wonderful opportunity for moms-to-be to share experiences, connect with one another, and get their questions answered by medical professionals.
