To enhance professional competencies and strengthen infection prevention and control (IPC) practices in healthcare settings, Hoan Hao General Hospital will organize an Infection Prevention and Control Training Program for healthcare workers across the hospital.
1. Enhancing Knowledge – Ensuring Patient Safety
Infection prevention and control is one of the key activities that contributes significantly to healthcare quality, patient safety, and occupational safety for healthcare workers. Through this training program, the hospital aims to update participants on the latest knowledge, skills, and best practices in infection prevention and control, thereby improving professional performance across departments and units.
The training also provides an opportunity to strengthen the hospital's infection control network and enhance collaboration among departments in building a safe, high-quality, and professional healthcare environment.
2. Program Objectives
- Ensure that 100% of members of the infection control network, nurses, technicians, and midwives participate in the training program.
- Ensure that 100% of participants successfully meet the post-training assessment requirements.
- Update healthcare workers on the latest regulations and guidelines related to infection prevention, infection control, and healthcare-associated infection prevention in healthcare facilities.
3. Target Participants
The program is intended for healthcare workers who are members of the infection control network, nurses, technicians, and midwives currently working at Hoan Hao General Hospital.
Approximately 80 participants are expected to attend. To maximize learning effectiveness and hands-on practice, the training will be conducted in two separate sessions.

In addition to theoretical sessions, the program will include pre-training and post-training assessments to evaluate training effectiveness, reinforce participants’ knowledge, and improve their ability to apply learned skills in daily practice.
