Today, on April 29, 2026, Hoan Hao Kei Mei Kai Japan General Hospital organized a Patient Council Meeting combined with Health Education Communication (HEC) under the topic: Early Recognition and Rehabilitation for Stroke Patients.

The program attracted the participation of many patients and their family members, providing practical knowledge on prevention, early recognition, and rehabilitation support for stroke patients.

Attendance of the Board of Directors and Medical Experts

The program was honored by the presence of Hospital Director - Dr. Duong Hoang Ha, Specialist Level I.

The in-depth presentation was delivered by Dr. Phan Van Chuong, Specialist Level I - Head of the Traditional Medicine & Rehabilitation Department.

With many years of experience in treatment and rehabilitation, the doctor shared practical, easy-to-understand, and valuable knowledge for patients and their families.

Key Highlights of the Program

1. Early Recognition of Stroke Warning Signs

Participants were guided on how to quickly recognize stroke warning signs such as facial drooping, weakness or paralysis of limbs, difficulty speaking, and loss of balance. Early detection helps patients receive emergency treatment within the “golden time”.

2. The Role of Early Rehabilitation After Stroke

The program emphasized the importance of starting rehabilitation early after treatment in order to improve mobility, speech, daily activities, and overall quality of life.

3. Guidance for Home Care of Patients

Family members were advised on how to support movement exercises, maintain proper nutrition, monitor health conditions, and prevent the risk of recurrent stroke.

Practical Benefits for Patients and Families

More than just a knowledge-sharing session, the program also served as a bridge between the hospital and patients through interactive activities and direct Q&A sessions with doctors.

Participants had the opportunity to:
- Receive direct answers from medical specialists
- Better understand the care and recovery process after stroke
- Raise awareness of proactive prevention of dangerous diseases
- Strengthen the connection between patients and the hospital

Stroke Is Dangerous but Preventable

Stroke is a serious medical condition that can leave severe complications if not treated promptly. However, with early recognition, timely emergency care, and proper rehabilitation, patients can significantly improve their health.

Hoan Hao Kei Mei Kai Japan General Hospital sincerely thanks all patients and their family members for participating in the program.
In the future, the hospital will continue organizing many meaningful health seminars and communication programs to spread medical knowledge and improve the quality of community healthcare services.
